House of Love was inspired by a sign that I saw when driving around, just outside Ubud, Bali.
It was a real estate sign 'House of Love!' but I saw it more as an ideal - a place to have together with the one I love, a safe haven for the inner child, within both of us. A place to play, enjoy nice food, feel love.
In fact, House of Love is a song that can comfort the inner child within you, and within everybody.
The other songs are about magical times at the beach, swimming with turtles, and falling deeply in love. The Old Grass of Hours is finding what I thought I'd always wanted... But turned out to be a portent of doom...
