about

Spirit of the Land is a vibrational healing song that will take you into a deep reflective state when listening. Hence it is not for use while driving! As I am singing, I am remembering many places and times in the history of the earth. You may feel the recording of these different locations and times as a vibration a you listen, cueing your sub-conscious mind to review your memories.

The music guides you to remember your past lives - who you have been - where you have been, when and with whom, and as it does so, it helps you gain perspective.

The effect is Ancestral Healing - meaning that listening can help you to resolve family, ancestral, tribal, and communal issues, bringing you the wise perspective of an old indian chief surveying his tribe.

Listen whenever you feel confused, need perspective, have to make a decision, need certainty.

I hope you enjoy my music!

(2) Fv

C Am Em/A > C
The power of the birds and the earth and trees
Fv F
I feel in in my bones know it in my blood
C Am Em/A > C
I feel it in the forest and in the wood

Chords As (1)
It’s my journey to understand
The ways of God and the path of man
The feelings in the water and in the land
The dance of desires and of God’s plan

CHORUS
Fv Am Em/A C
The spirit of the land it is calling you
C Am Em/A C
Can you feel it calling, calling you?
Fv
The lakes and the rivers the fish and birds
^ C Am Em/A Am
The sacred stands and the magic words

I feel it in my hair feel it in my hands
I feel it in the water and in the land

The magic of the land that is calling me
The dryness of the desert beneath my feet

The softness of the water around my legs
The eyes of a beggar as he begs
The greatness of the mountains depth of the seas
The singing of the whales and the memories

It’s the song that sings every rock and tree
The song that sung even you and me
The music of the lakes rivers and the streams
The singing of the wind laughing of the breeze

The rhythm of the earth pounding in my feet
Pulsing through the land or through concrete
It’s muffled in the water and in the cities bare
But it’s always calling, it’s always there

I see it in your eyes when I walk with you
The feeling gives rise that you want me to
Help to realise your hopes and dreams
Bring together our plans and schemes
I see it in your eyes when you’re not with me
I feel it in the wind and the way to be

I hold it in my hands like a precious dove
I feel it in my heart and I know it’s love

I feel it in the earth and in the sky
I hear it in a baby or mother’s cry
It’s there at a birth, and when we die
It’s the we and the us and the me and I

It’s the beginning and the end,
The a to zee
The meeting of a friend coming home for tea
It’s the humming of a taxi, the way to bed
It’s the sudden idea that pops right in your head

I feel it in my hands when I’m not with you
I hear it in the surf and the sky so blue

It’s the cry of the land
Calling out to you
Can you hear it, know what to do
I feel it in the moon and in the snow
I feel it in my body, the body knows

In the breath and the lungs it grows
Flows in from the air down to my toes

The terns and the ducks, owls and the crows
I hear it in the air this is how it goes

I feel it in my hands when I’m not with you
I feel it in my feet feel it coming through
I see it in your heart see it in your eyes
It’s there in our hellos and in all goodbyes^

It’s the wisdom of the land told in your craggy face
The learning and the stories told by God’s grace
It’s in every single truth and all the lies
It’s the mystery of life, it’s old and wise

ADDNL WORLDS
It’s the whistling of the wind on a dark black night
It’s the cry of a ghost as the mouse takes flight
It’s the cry of a moth dying in a flame
It’s the smile of a friend saying ‘glad you came’

It’s fairies wings rustling in the trees
The turquoise of Tintagel and the sea
It’s the magic of the ages written in a book
The silence of the pages when you take a look

It’s the sound of the wind playing in your hair
It’s the myths and the stories we all share

It’s the hopes and dreams running round your head
The thoughts and reveries as you lie in bed
It’s a dreamcatcher sparkling in deepest blue
it’s the darkness and the light in all you do

Can you feel the sunrise burly on your skin?
Can you feel it when you sing a hymn?
Can you hear it when I call your name?
Can you know now, why you came?

It’s the voice of the waves, crying wild
The glistening tears in the eyes of a child
It’s the feeling of joy when you see the one you love
It’s the spirit of the land, it’s name is love

Dance it in your path every day -
Feel it in your words everything you say
Spirit of the land beating out your name
Spirit of the land it’s why you came

Note: Chord Fv stands for F variation. I love this chord and use it a lot! I didn't know the name so I called it Fv. It is actually FMaj7.
